Module 3- FORS Professional LoCITY Driving (3.5hr)

FORS Professional LoCITY Driving is a half day driver training module that focuses on minimising environmental impact. The course highlights reducing emissions through the use of pre-journey planning and vehicle checks, fuel-efficient driving, and the use of alternative fuels.

The three-and-a-half hour CPC approved course gives participants the knowledge and skills needed to cut costs and minimise the environmental impact of fleet operations.

By the end of the course, drivers will be able to:

Explain why there is a need to reduce environmental impact and improve air quality.
Check your vehicle and in-vehicle technology to reduce emissions.
Apply fuel-efficient driving techniques and journey planning to improve efficiency.
Describe the latest renewable fuels available for commercial and passenger vehicles.

FORS Professional Safe Driving (With Virtual Reality)

This is the only immersive VR course developed by FORS currently available, designed to enhance the existing theory module and offered as an optional alternative to the practical on-cycle component.

A strong focus on reducing road risk and protecting vulnerable road users

60 minutes of immersive virtual reality content featuring 20 realistic scenarios across UK road types — urban, rural, and motorway — and vehicle categories including vans, HGVs, and PCVs.
